It took us a while, but this year’s Stagecoach review is finally here!
From Thursday night RV Resort festivities to Florida Georgia Line closing out day one, to the legendary Garth Brooks wrapping up the most amazing Stagecoach in recent memory, the weekend that was, will definitely be a tough one to top.
The party started out Thursday night, when KFROG and Go Country radio stations, hosted their own line dance parties, in the RV resort. Both stations kept the festival attendees partying until around midnight. But the party didn’t stop there, the RV Resort attendees moved the party to their RVs and each row/section had music, games, drinks and food readily available for anyone stopping by. This turned out to be the norm every night after the night’s headliners closed out the festival. If you’ve never been into the RV resort after the festival, you definitely must check it out. It’s the only way to get the full Stagecoach experience.
Day one was jam packed with amazing artists like Lindsay Ell, Cody Jinks, Kelsea Ballerini and Chris Janson, but as the sun went down, things really started to heat up. Tanya Tucker put on a great show to closeout day one on the Palomino Stage and Florida Georgia Line brought a high energy performance and special guests, to close out the evening on the Mane Stage.
Day two had talented artists from the minute the gates opened! On the SiriusXM Stage, Kassi Ashton started it off and was followed by the talented Adam Doleac. Both performers were just of a star studded day of country music. Carly Pearce, Brandy Clark, Dwight Yoakum, Midland, Granger Smith, The Brothers Osborne, Kacey Musgraves and Keith Urban kept the party going deeeeep into Saturday night. This day was by far one of the most talent packed days in Stagecoach history. From noon to midnight it was a who’s who of song writers/singers/performers and living legends. Saturday was definitely one for the books.
For us, day three was an emotional and entertainment rollercoaster. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to interview, Brown & Gray, after their electrifying performance. We met Temecula Road after they finished rocking the Sirius XM stage and finally were blessed to meet Aaron Watson, an artist that has released 13 albums and has been pumping out hit after hit for years. But the highlight of our day was the mini-reunion for Route 91 Harvest survivors and family members. Hundreds of people from across the country that were at Route 91 and also attended Stagecoach, met, shared stories, hugged and supported each other for over an hour.
The weekend ended with Garth Brooks closing out Sunday night and acknowledging the men and women from Route 91 that had overcome their fears and anxiety attacks to attend Stagecoach. The phenomenal nightly lineups, the added protection and the overall general fun everyone was having made this the best Stagecoach in recent memories.
We can’t wait until next year!
