Miranda Lambert Releases Cookbook, “Y’all Eat Yet?”

As reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Miranda Lambert prepares for the April 25 release of her first book, “Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen,” written together with Holly Gleason, she announces a trio of book signing events to bring the recipes she was raised on and stories of intergenerational female friendship to fans nationwide.

Kicking off in New York City on release day, Lambert will visit the 5th Avenue Barnes & Noble store April 25 at 12 p.m. ET before appearing at The Grove Barnes & Noble store in Los Angeles on April 28 at 11 a.m. PT. She will also return to her hometown of Lindale, Texas – where many of the book’s stories were born – for a signing at her own Pink Pistol store on May 9 at 12 p.m. CT ahead of the ACM Awards in nearby Dallas later that week. Limited tickets priced at $38.11 plus an Eventbrite fee of $4 (which include one book each) will be available via YallEatYetBook.com at 11 a.m. local time today, March 21.

With “Y’all Eat Yet?” (Dey Street Books), the most awarded artist in ACM history takes readers deeper into her life off stage, on her farm and on the road, as well as sharing her beloved Airstream trailers, her signature fashion sense and decorating style. Lambert grew up surrounded by her mother and grandmother, and also by her mother’s tight-knit pack of girlfriends. With them, she learned the power of female friendship and the bonds that women share – and the way good food and drink is the perfect reason for any gathering of your girlfriends.

“Watching my mom and her friends, I saw the way pitching in, working together, loving music and being there for each other is the greatest gift you can have in life. I think my mom inherited that gift from her mom, because they both attracted the most awesome group of girlfriends,” says Lambert.

These colorful women knew how to have too much fun, come through in a jam, celebrate, cry when necessary and really, really cook – and it’s to these women that Lambert credits her own inviting, come-on-in personality. Each and every recipe in “Y’all Eat Yet?” has been handed down from her mom, grandma and those cherished friends, including Nonny’s Banana Pudding, The Loaf (aka “the meal that will get the ring”), Dutch Oven (Coffee Can) Campfire Cobbler, Stacked Enchilada Bake, Jalapeño Pimento Cheese, Roasted Root Vegetable Winter Salad, Whiskey Cupcakes and more.

For everything from porch parties to road trips, the holidays and celebratory gatherings, “Y’all Eat Yet?” is true to Lambert’s roots growing up in Texas. It showcases easy to prepare, hearty and delicious meals meant to be shared with those you love. Full of the moments most people never get to see in the life of one of country music’s most important female superstars – along with gorgeous fare and 50 recipes – “Y’all Eat Yet?” was created to fill your belly and feed your soul.

Lindsay Ell Wows Coachella Valley crowd, again

In typical Lindsay Ell fashion, the singer/songwriter/guitarist had the crowd on their feet, from start to finish! On a dark, rainy, gloomy night, the Canadian born artist was a ray of sunshine with her lyrics and guitar solos.

The concert, which was scheduled to take place outside prior to rain, was moved inside of Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City. This along with a BBQ menu and line dance competition made for an action packed evening in the desert. But Lindsay Ell is no stranger to the Coachella Valley. Like her native Canadians that make their yearly trips to the Valley, Lindsay has performed at Stagecoach several times, most recently in 2022, and she never disappoints.

Along with performing her hits, “Right On Time”, “Criminal” and “What Happens in a Small Town”, Lindsay also announced that she would be heading on tour with Shania Twain. Lindsay stated that it was a dream of hers to perform with Shania, since she was a kid. These two phenomenal artists on tour together, this promises to be a “Must-See” concert.

LUKE COMBS’ NEW SONG “JOE” OUT TODAY

Country superstar and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs’ new song, “Joe,” written by Combs, Erik Dylan and James Slater, is out today. Listen/share HERE

Of the song, Combs shares, “There have been some folks in my family that have struggled with alcoholism and addiction through the years, I’ve got buddies who live a sober lifestyle, and I’m sure y’all know someone who has struggled with these types of things, or maybe you yourself do. This song is really important to me for that reason. Our genre has so many songs about drinking and partying, hell, I’m probably one of the worst culprits of it. There’s nothing wrong with that I don’t think, but sometimes I wonder what someone in the crowd who doesn’t drink or struggles with addiction is thinking or feeling when there’s thousands of people around them screaming ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’ or ‘1, 2 Many.’ I’ve always wanted a song for those people to have for themselves. To have a song they can sing at the top of their lungs and feel like they’re not forgotten. When Erik Dylan sent me the work tape of this a few years back, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. So, if you’re reading this and this song speaks to you, I hope you love it. This one’s for you.”

“Joe” is the third song unveiled from Combs’ new album, Gettin’ Old—a companion to his acclaimed 2022 record, Growin’ Up—which will be released March 24 via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville (pre-order here). Produced by Combs, Chip Matthews and Jonathan SingletonGettin’ Old is Combs’ fourth full-length album following Growin’ Up, 2019’s 3x Platinum What You See is What You Get and his 4x Platinum debut, This One’s For You. Across these eighteen tracks, including a rendition of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” Combs continues to establish himself as one of music’s most authentic and powerful voices, as he explores themes of family, legacy, love and personal growth.

Ahead of the release, Combs has unveiled two additional album tracks: “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” and “Love You Anyway,” of which The New York Times praises, “His bellow is more stable, his emotional presence more dignified. But there’s still something of a purring engine inside songs like ‘Love You Anyway,’” while Billboard declares, “it immediately sounds like one of his strongest to date.”

Reflecting on the album, Combs shares, “This album is about the stage of life I’m in right now. One that I’m sure a lot of us are in, have been through, or will go through. It’s about coming of age, loving where life is now but at the same time missing how it used to be, continuing to fall for the one you love and loving them no matter what, living in the moment but still wondering how much time you have left, family, friends, being thankful, and leaving a legacy. Me and so many others have poured their hearts and souls into this record, and I hope you love it as much as we do.”

Furthermore, Combs will kick off his massive World Tour next month with sixteen North American stadium shows, all of which sold out immediately. With 39 shows across 3 continents and 16 countries, the record-breaking run is the largest tour ever for a country artist. The upcoming trek includes shows at Arlington, TX’s AT&T Stadium, Nashville’s Nissan Stadium and Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium, as well as stops in Australia, New Zealand, U.K., Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, France and Belgium. See below for complete tour itinerary.

A member of the Grand Ole Opry and an 8x CMA, 3x ACM, 3x Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs is in the midst of a historic series of years. Most recently, he was named CMA Entertainer of the Year for the second-consecutive year this past November and recently earned his record-setting, fourteenth-consecutive #1 single with “The Kind of Love We Make.” Continuing his monumental run at country radio, Combs’ current single, “Going, Going, Gone,” is currently top 3 and rising. Additionally, with his 2019 release, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, Combs reached #1 on Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Albums chart, Top 100 Songs chart and Artists 500 chart—the first country artist ever to lead all three charts in the same week and first to top the Artists 500.

MORGAN WALLEN
With over 12.3 billion on-demand streams, multi-platinum certifications and seven chart-toppers at Country radio, it’s no wonder The New Yorker dubbed Morgan Wallen “the most wanted man in country.” His critically-acclaimed, 4x platinum ACM Album of the YearDangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Republic Records) — Wallen’s follow-up to his double platinum breakout If I Know Me — topped 2021’s all-genre Billboard 200 Albums year-end chart with 4.1 million units sold earning him 2022 Billboard Awards Country Male Artist top honor while continuing to notch historical chart status as Billboard’s longest running Top 10 album in history for a solo artist (eclipsing Adele’s 21 and Bruce Springsteen’s Born In The USA). Its success sparked the in-demand 55-show Dangerous Tour in 2022 that kicked off this February and wrapped in early October, with the superstar’s first headlining stadium show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX that saw Wallen shattering attendance records previously held by Elton John and Lady Gaga. The east Tennessean’s hit-packed set included “Up Down” (2017), “Whiskey Glasses” (2018), “Chasin’ You” (2019), “More Than My Hometown” (2020), “7 Summers” (2020, named one of Time Magazine’s Best Songs of the Year), “Sand In My Boots” (2021), and his crossover “Wasted On You.” Wallen’s first solo release of 2022, the emotional ballad “Don’t Think Jesus,” timed to Good Friday in honor of its redemptive lyrics, earned a Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 debut and landed atop Billboard Hot Country Songs chart making him the first artist to score three No.1 debuts on the chart (based on airplay, streaming and sales) since its inception. Follow up single “You Proof,” released in mid-May, became Wallen’s fastest chart climber to date, reaching No. 1 after 14 weeks and remaining at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for six non-consecutive weeks. Working outside the traditional Nashville mainframe with producer Joey Moi, HITS notes, “Wallen continually colors outside the lines,” adding, in turn “he’s connected to his fans in ways unprecedented for a country star.” Having already taken home New Artist of the Year in 2020, the CMA Winner also won AMAs fan-voted Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Country Song at 2022’s awards. The east Tennessee superstar and recent ACM Milestone Award recipient shares, “Awards are awesome, but my true measure of success is my fans, who this year I got to see every single night out on the road and will continue to do so for many years to come.” Thanks to nearly 1 million of his fans, $3 for every ticket sold during his 2022 Dangerous Tour has raised nearly $3 million benefitting the Morgan Wallen Foundation which funds causes close to his heart.

HARDY
Big Loud Records’ heavy hitter HARDY has never been just one thing. Uncaging his next chapter on January 20, 2023, HARDY will introduce the mockingbird & THE CROW, his dichotomous, 17-track sophomore album and the follow up to 2020 debut, A ROCK. HARDY is the reigning ACM Songwriter of the Year, 2022’s BMI Country Songwriter of the Year and a two-time AIMP Songwriter of the Year. One of CRS’ 2021 New Faces of Country Music and a two-time CMA Triple Play award recipient, the pride of Philadelphia, Miss. has earned his reputation as “a breakout in the making,” (HITS) and “a promising purveyor of keeping the spirit of classic heavy Southern rock alive” (American Songwriter). HARDY has written 12 No. 1 singles since 2018, including his own double platinum No. 1 single “ONE BEER” feat. Lauren Alaina + Devin Dawson, and chart-topping Dierks Bentley + BRELAND collaboration, “Beers On Me.” He’s previously toured with Thomas Rhett, Morgan Wallen, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Cole Swindell, and more, and will embark on his own SOLD-OUT headlining Wall to Wall Tour this winter, before launching the mockingbird & THE CROW Tour in 2023.

PARKER MCCOLLUM
Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Parker McCollum released his major label debut album, Gold Chain Cowboy, with MCA. The album follows his Hollywood Gold EP which was met with widespread critical acclaim and became the top-selling debut country EP of 2020. McCollum earned his first-ever No. 1 hit with his platinum-selling premiere single, “Pretty Heart,” and his follow-up single, “To Be Loved By You,” also hit No. 1 on the charts. “To Be Loved By You” was also the highest first week debut album of 2021. In November of 2021, McCollum made his first late-night TV appearance performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

McCollum has been named an Artist to Watch by Rolling Stone, Billboard, SiriusXM, CMT, RIAA, and more with American Songwriter noting, “The Texas native teeters on the edge of next-level superstardom.” MusicRow listed McCollum as their 2021 Breakout Artist of the Year and Apple also included him as one of their all-genre “Up Next Artists” Class of 2021. A dedicated road warrior, McCollum made his debut at the famed Grand Ole Opry in 2021 and he already sells out venues across the country (over 40 sold out shows nationwide in 2021) including record-breaking crowds in Dallas (20,000), The Woodlands (16,500), Austin (7500+), Lubbock (7700+), Jackson, MS (5000+), Kearney, NE (3000+), Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and three nights at Fort Worth’s iconic Billy Bob’s Texas. In March of this year McCollum made his debut at RodeoHouston to a sold-out crowd with over 73,000 tickets sold. McCollum earned his first ACM award for New Male Artist of the Year in March 2022 in Las Vegas.  McCollum also won his first CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year award, a fully fan-voted honor, in April 2022.

ERNEST
Nashville’s most unpredictable hitmaker ERNEST is “The Charmer” (MusicRow), a triple threat talent and one of Music City’s on the rise artist/writers that’s changing the status quo. A 2022 Variety Hitmaker, the chart-topping songwriter fuses influences ranging from Eminem to George Jones, creating a twist-heavy verse style that’s become his signature, proving its mettle and earning him seven #1 hits to date. The eccentric free spirit and 2022 CMA Triple Play Award winner released his debut full-length album Flower Shops (The Album) in March, named one of Holler and The Tennessean‘s best albums of 2022 and showcasing the more classically country side of his craft. Nashville’s “busiest – and most consistently successful – creative force” (Tennessean) just wrapped his first-ever sold-out headlining Sucker For Small Towns Tour, spanning college towns nationwide.

BAILEY ZIMMERMAN
Establishing himself as one of music’s most exciting new voices, Bailey Zimmerman has arrived at the cusp of superstardom with the 2022 release of his debut EP, Leave The Light On – the biggest streaming country debut of all time and the most-streamed all-genre debut of the year. The EP arrived at No. 2 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart and No. 9 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, affording the Louisville, Illinois, native to join Zach Bryan and Luke Combs as the only country artists in 2022 to earn more than one million streams on each of a project’s tracks during release week alone. In 2021 the 22-year-old released his very first song. Now, in just one year’s time, Zimmerman touts nearly 1 billion global streams, has earned his first pair of platinum singles, notched three entries on the Billboard Hot 100, and sold out his first headline tour within minutes of tickets going on-sale.

A young artist with the rasp of a seasoned rocker and the heart of a sensitive songwriter, Zimmerman strikes a sweet spot between timeless American country, rafter-rattling arena rock, and the kind of authentic storytelling that tugs at the heartstrings with a sense of humor and a whole lot of soul. With more new music on the horizon, featuring the grit and gravel of his unmistakably Southern drawl, Zimmerman will continue to showcase the straightforward authenticity for which he is known and loved.

Coachella Valley Loves Its Country Music

The Coachella Valley has always been known as the home of Stagecoach, the largest country music festival in the western United States. But over the past few years, the Coachella Valley has stepped out as a home for country music & its artists. A large part of the growth in country music throughout the Coachella Valley, has to do with the influence of our local casinos. Agua Caliente, Fantasy Springs & Spotlight 29 have all showcased their facilities by hosting a number of country artists.

Here is a brief rundown of the local facilities and the artists that have performed at the venue:

Agua Caliente: Located in Rancho Mirage, The Show at Agua Caliente is a 2100 seat venue, which boasts some of the latest lighting and videography, in the valley. The Show has been host to several country artists, including Dustin Lynch, Randy Houser & Old Dominion. Check out AguaCalienteCasinos.com for upcoming shows and room reservations.

Fantasy Springs: The Special Events Center is located in Indio, and has hosted concerts and world championship boxing. Country artists which have performed include, Chris Young, Old Dominion, Gary Allen and Brooks & Dunn. Fantasy Springs LIT Lounge, located inside the casino, also hosts Country Nights, with DJ Big John Miller. Check out FantasySpringsResort.com for room availability and entertainment info.

Spotlight 29: The latest venue to host country music artists is located in the city of Coachella, at Spotlight 29 Casino, Coachella Crossroads. Coachella Crossroads is a 50 Acre outdoor entertainment complex located adjacent to Spotlight 29 Casino. It is developed by The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians and this Veteran’s Day, will host a concert, “Salute to Our Troops” with Blake Shelton as the headliner. Spotlight 29 also has a showroom inside the casino. The Showroom seats 2,200 that has featured headliners such as Justin Moore, Montgomery Gentry and Big & Rich.Acrisure Arena: Another venue, that was recently completed, is Acrisure Arena, a brand new 11,000 seat venue. The arena is home to The Coachella Valley Firebirds hockey team and will host a number of concerts, including the great Shania Twain.

The number of venues that are hosting country music artists, has increased in the past several years, but Stagecoach is still the most popular country music event held in the Coachella Valley. Fortunately with the amount of country music concerts being held throughout the year, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from, while we wait for April to come around.

Stagecoach 2023 Lineup Announced

Last week GoldenVoice released the line up for Stagecoach 2023 and we believe it’s one of the best lineups that we’ve seen! Stagecoach always has amazing headliners and up and coming talent performing at the Palomino stage or Sirius XM stage, but what makes this year’s lineup so good, is the range of the performing artists. Headliners Luke Bryan, Kane Brown and Chris Stapleton represent three subcategories within country music, which as far as we’ve heard, has been pleasing to our readers/followers.

Luke Bryan has always been a Stagecoach favorite with his poppy, catchy, feel-good songs. You can’t go wrong with having Luke Bryan perform at Stagecoach. Kane Brown has an amazing voice and is popular with younger fans, especially the ladies. Chris Stapleton has so many phenomenal songs, that we don’t know how they’ll be able to fit them all into a two hour set. These three artists are well deserving of headline status, because of their singing & song-writing abilities, but more importantly, they have a very loyal fanbase, and their songs will definitely get people dancing, at the end of the night.

Other artists that we’re excited to see:

Old Dominion– They’ve been named Group of the Year for good reason. Everyone loves Old Dominion

Kameron Marlowe– This talented young artist has established himself as a force to be reckoned with with hits, “Giving You Up” and “Tequila Talkin'”. Be sure to catch his set!

Morgan Wade– This talented female, has the voice and lyrics that paint a picturesque scene, for every song she sings. She performs at Stagecoach on Saturday. DO. NOT. MISS. HER!

For the full line up and to purchase your tickets, visit Stagecoach.com

Tailgate Fest Returns!!!

Tailgate Fest Returns on August 13th & 14th and it promises to be bigger and better than ever! This year Tailgate Fest moves from SilverLakes Sports Complex to Auto Club Speedway, in Fontana. The tailgate party will be happening on the track infield and because of the unique nature of Tailgate Fest, it won’t stop when the artists take the stage.

This year’s Tailgate Fest lineup is stacked with some of country music’s favorite artists, performing some of country music’s favorite songs. Billy Currington & Jake Owen will headline the weekend and will be joined by LANCO, Eli Young Band, Chris Jansen and Blanco Brown, just to name a few. These artists will highlight every aspect that makes Tailgate Fest a fan favorite.

Tailgate Fest has always prided itself on being unique, compared to other country music festivals. At most festivals, attendees have to leave the RV/camping area to enjoy see the artists on stage. At Tailgate Fest, fans can continue to party and play at their camping location, and still have a view of the stage & artists, as they perform. Any fan wanting a closer view, will have the option of watching the show from the general admission area or from the VIP section, in front of the stage.

But wait, THERE’S MORE! Tailgate Fest also offers Boots & Bikinis, an opportunity for fans to enjoy the performance from a giant pool, located next to the stage. The Boots & Bikinis option will allow attendees to enjoy a MEGA pool party before, during and after the artists perform.

We’ve been fortunate enough to cover Tailgate Fest in the past, and it is an experience that every country music fan should experience at least twice in their life. The artist-fan interaction is unlike anything I’ve seen before, and the option to enjoy the performances, from the comfort of your vehicle, isn’t truly appreciated, until you’ve experienced it first hand.

Tailgate Fest is a welcome breath of fresh air and a return to normalcy that country music fans have been craving, since the start of the pandemic. We’ll be purchasing our tickets to attend this year and I strongly recommend you do the same. This is truly one festival you don’t wanna miss.
