Stagecoach 2023 Lineup Announced

Last week GoldenVoice released the line up for Stagecoach 2023 and we believe it’s one of the best lineups that we’ve seen! Stagecoach always has amazing headliners and up and coming talent performing at the Palomino stage or Sirius XM stage, but what makes this year’s lineup so good, is the range of the performing artists. Headliners Luke Bryan, Kane Brown and Chris Stapleton represent three subcategories within country music, which as far as we’ve heard, has been pleasing to our readers/followers.

Luke Bryan has always been a Stagecoach favorite with his poppy, catchy, feel-good songs. You can’t go wrong with having Luke Bryan perform at Stagecoach. Kane Brown has an amazing voice and is popular with younger fans, especially the ladies. Chris Stapleton has so many phenomenal songs, that we don’t know how they’ll be able to fit them all into a two hour set. These three artists are well deserving of headline status, because of their singing & song-writing abilities, but more importantly, they have a very loyal fanbase, and their songs will definitely get people dancing, at the end of the night.

Other artists that we’re excited to see:

Old Dominion– They’ve been named Group of the Year for good reason. Everyone loves Old Dominion

Kameron Marlowe– This talented young artist has established himself as a force to be reckoned with with hits, “Giving You Up” and “Tequila Talkin'”. Be sure to catch his set!

Morgan Wade– This talented female, has the voice and lyrics that paint a picturesque scene, for every song she sings. She performs at Stagecoach on Saturday. DO. NOT. MISS. HER!

Tailgate Fest Returns!!!

Tailgate Fest Returns on August 13th & 14th and it promises to be bigger and better than ever! This year Tailgate Fest moves from SilverLakes Sports Complex to Auto Club Speedway, in Fontana. The tailgate party will be happening on the track infield and because of the unique nature of Tailgate Fest, it won’t stop when the artists take the stage.

This year’s Tailgate Fest lineup is stacked with some of country music’s favorite artists, performing some of country music’s favorite songs. Billy Currington & Jake Owen will headline the weekend and will be joined by LANCO, Eli Young Band, Chris Jansen and Blanco Brown, just to name a few. These artists will highlight every aspect that makes Tailgate Fest a fan favorite.

Tailgate Fest has always prided itself on being unique, compared to other country music festivals. At most festivals, attendees have to leave the RV/camping area to enjoy see the artists on stage. At Tailgate Fest, fans can continue to party and play at their camping location, and still have a view of the stage & artists, as they perform. Any fan wanting a closer view, will have the option of watching the show from the general admission area or from the VIP section, in front of the stage.

But wait, THERE’S MORE! Tailgate Fest also offers Boots & Bikinis, an opportunity for fans to enjoy the performance from a giant pool, located next to the stage. The Boots & Bikinis option will allow attendees to enjoy a MEGA pool party before, during and after the artists perform.

We’ve been fortunate enough to cover Tailgate Fest in the past, and it is an experience that every country music fan should experience at least twice in their life. The artist-fan interaction is unlike anything I’ve seen before, and the option to enjoy the performances, from the comfort of your vehicle, isn’t truly appreciated, until you’ve experienced it first hand.

Tailgate Fest is a welcome breath of fresh air and a return to normalcy that country music fans have been craving, since the start of the pandemic. We’ll be purchasing our tickets to attend this year and I strongly recommend you do the same. This is truly one festival you don’t wanna miss.

LUKE COMBS’ NEW ALBUM GROWIN’ UP, OUT TODAY

Country superstar and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs’ highly anticipated new album, Growin’ Up, is out today via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville. Stream/purchase HERE.

In celebration of the release, Combs was featured on “CBS Mornings” earlier today speaking with correspondent Anthony Mason (watch the full profile HERE) and recently profiled in The New York Times, who praises, “Combs is one of country music’s biggest stars right now…He’s accomplished this not with virtuosic musical innovation, genre-crossing celebrity collaborations or by hosting a television singing competition, but by cranking out one irrepressibly catchy, widely relatable meat-and-potatoes country anthem after another.”

Produced by Combs, Chip Matthews and Jonathan SingletonGrowin’ Up is Combs’ third studio album following 2019’s 3x Platinum What You See is What You Get and his 4x Platinum debut, This One’s For You, and consists of twelve songs including his new single, “The Kind of Love We Make,” which debuted at #17 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart—the highest chart debut since January 2020—and was the most added song at country radio this week with 148 stations onboard. Watch the song’s official music video HERE.

“The Kind of Love We Make” adds to a triumphant career for Combs, who recently extended his record-breaking streak at country radio as his previous single, “Doin’ This,” reached #1 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts last month. This is Combs’ thirteenth-consecutive #1 single, adding yet another historic accomplishment to his career. In honor of the milestone, Combs celebrated his nine latest #1s earlier this month with a special sold-out Parking Lot Party concert at BMI—their biggest #1 party ever.

Known for his electric live shows, Combs will perform throughout this year with his sold-out “Middle of Somewhere” fall tour as well as an upcoming sold-out show at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which ranks among the fastest sell-outs in the venue’s history. The Atlanta show follows additional sold-out stadium shows at Seattle’s Lumen Field and Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High, of which The Tennessean praised, “as he held center stage for the two-hour show, Combs proved why he and his growing collection of hits sound best with a stadium-sized crowd singing along.” See below for complete tour itinerary.

A member of the Grand Ole Opry and a 6x CMA, 3x ACM, 3x Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs is in the midst of a record-setting and historic series of years. His previous release, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, debuted at #1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart as well as Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. With the record Combs reached #1 on Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Albums chart, Top 100 Songs chart and Artists 500 chart—the first country artist ever to lead all three charts in the same week and first to top the Artists 500. He also made history as the first artist ever to have their first two studio albums spend 25 weeks or more at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart—breaking Taylor Swift’s previously held record at 24 weeks.

Palomino Festival to Debut in Pasadena

Earlier this year, Goldenvoice announced Palomino, a brand new alt-country festival taking place for one day only, this July 9th. The team behind Stagecoach – California’s country music festival – have created a magical day full of some of the most innovative, authentic, and boundary-pushing talent in country, folk, pop, bluegrass, and everything in between. The inaugural lineup taking over Brookside at the Rose Bowl includes Kacey MusgravesWillie Nelson & Family, and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. The recent addition of rising country star, Zach Bryan, promises to make Palomino a day you don’t wanna miss. The multi-talented, Nikki Lane, will also be in attendance. Nikki promises to make this festival more spectacular by not only performing, but also bringing her popular vintage marketplace to Palomino, and with Nikki in attendance, everything just feels right.

Don’t wait until the FOMO strikes, because it might be too late. Purchase your tickets on PalominoPasadena.com and prepare for an experience of a lifetime.

Lindsay Ell Crushes Day 3, at Stagecoach

As the sun began to set on Stagecoach 2022, a familiar voice rang out from the Mane Stage. Lindsay Ell took the stage, on day three, and put on a high energy performance, filled with guest appearances and her latest chart topping hits, which got the 75,000 fans on their feet and singing along, prior to headliner Luke Combs, taking the stage.

Dressed in neon green, Lindsay began her set with an infectious amount of energy that spilled over to the crowd, who quickly began singing along to “Criminal” and didn’t stop until her final song, “What Happens In A Small Town“.

During her performance, the crowd of 75,000, was treated to Lindsay’s latest release, “Right on Time“. a song that Lindsay told me, was “near and dear to her heart, because of the constant pressure that is placed on women, by society, to fall in love, get married and have kids; all by a certain age.” She stated, “women are beautiful and should be empowered to live their life on their own timeline; write their own stories.” Before performing “Right on Time” at Stagecoach, Lindsay dedicated the song to women everywhere, as a reminder that they “can’t be late to their own party.” The statement was greeted cheers as the women, and some men in the crowd, recognized the realness of her statement.

Shortly after that song, Lindsay and her band, had a little fun with the crowd, by squirting them with water guns, then quickly returned to the stage to introduce special guests, Cheat Codes, for their next song, “How Do You Love“. The trio and Lindsay, proceeded to perform their smash hit, while the crowd danced, sang and throughly enjoyed the moment. The end of Lindsay’s set was capped, with her most popular song to date, “What Happens in a Small Town“, a song featuring Brantley Gilbert.

Although Lindsay’s performances are entertaining, because of her incredible guitar skills, crowd interaction, and high energy throughout the set, this one felt very different. Good different. This was, easily, one of my favorite performances of Stagecoach weekend. Lindsay’s energy provided an atmosphere that we hadn’t experienced since the beginning of the pandemic. Lindsay was captivating throughout and reminded us, of just how much fun live music can be, and how much we’ve missed it!

Thank you, Lindsay!

If you’d like to experience Lindsay Ell’s phenomenal performance for yourself, be sure to follow her on all social media platforms, and catch her opening for Shania Twain this summer.

Holiday State debuts Festival Anthem ‘Indio’

When the weather get’s warmer in the Coachella Valley, it only means one thing… Festival Season! This year, April marks the return of Coachella and Stagecoach, after a two year hiatus due to covid. Just in time for our local festivals, the country trio, Holiday State, has released the song “Indio”, which promises to be a festival-fan favorite for years to come.

Holiday State, is a pop-country trio made up of brothers Brandon, Brett & Bryan DeLaura. The group hails from Ranch Santa Margarita, California, and has released several singles throughout their career and expect to drop their first EP in fall of 2022. The brothers have stated that being of Hawaiian and Hispanic descent they find musical influence in their culture, as well as their music they grew up listening to during their childhood.

Holiday State’s latest song, “Indio”, is another addition to their catchy, feel good style, that instantly transports listeners into a festive, chill-vibe. The song has already been streamed over 15k times, and has been shared on social media, by none other than Waymond Fermon, the Mayor of Indio.

The trio’s list of feel good songs don’t end with “Indio”, the brothers have also released popular singles, such as “Friday Feelin” and “Where I Wanna Be“. It is easy to see that Holiday State is well on their way to becoming rising stars on the pop country scene, with more than enough talent to perform at Stagecoach, TailgateFest, or any number of country festivals throughout the US.

We look forward to future hits from Holiday State and forsee them headlining at a concert venue, near you.

Be sure to check out HolidayState.com for their latest music and upcoming shows.

Morgan Wallen Closes Out Record-Setting 3-Night Bridgestone Run with Jason Aldean, Lil Durk and Thomas Rhett

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Just hours after announcing his headlining stadium show set for Arlington, Tex.’s Globe Life Field, Morgan Wallen performed the last of his three consecutive sold-out nights at Bridgestone Arena, part of his 58-show Dangerous Tour. “Run This Town” (Rihanna, Jay-Z, Ye) blared from the speakers before Wallen took the stage, like a walk up song he might have chosen during his baseball career, foreshadowing the night to come.

“Man, this is an incredible thing,” Wallen celebrated ahead of ACM Album of the Year title track “Dangerous.” “It’s my home state – the town that I call home now – a town that’s been good to me. I’ve got the majority of my family here tonight.”

The at-capacity crowd followed Wallen’s every move and sang word-for-word a smooth sequence of album cuts that followed, from “Silverado For Sale” to “Somebody’s Problem” and the ultimate ode to his Hancock County roots, “865.”

Just after performing “Where I Find God” with tourmate Larry Fleet, Wallen welcomed surprise guest Thomas Rhett to the stage for the Rhett-penned Dangerous track, “Whiskey’d My Way.” Then, without missing a beat, the Sneedville, Tennessean gleamingly revealed, “I’ve got another good buddy of mine out here tonight – I bet you’re gonna like this one,” as former tourmate Jason Aldean surprised the crowd with his 2005 breakout hit “Hicktown.”

At the top of the encore, Chicago-born rapstar Lil Durk, Wallen’s recent collaborator, thrilled with an appearance as the pair worked the stage throughout their No. 1 debut Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart crossover “Broadway Girls.”

As Wallen closed the night he thanked the crowd sincerely, “God bless you, Nashville – these have been three of the best nights of my life.”

Stagecoach Line Dance Competition Recap

Another year of Stagecoach Line Dancing Competition is in the books, and this year’s competition was another welcome step towards normalcy. Over 25 competitors danced their way into the Stagecoach Festival competition, and at the end a few were offered an opportunity to join the Stagecoach HonkTonk Dance Team. Dancers from across Southern California converged on Fantasy Springs Resort Casino for the two hour competition with dreams of being one of the fortunate four winners.

As in years past, the event DJ was Big John Miller, who provided competitors and guests, current and classic line dance songs, to keep everyone dancing. Big John was also the MC of the event and called out the upcoming songs & dances for the competition.

In a surprising twist to the event, all 8 of the finalists were female, which caused one of the judges to jokingly add, that “the guys need to step their game up, for next year.”

When the final four winners were chosen, tears were shed, hugs were given and dreams were realized. It was an emotional conclusion to an action packed day.

(Video and photos of the event may be viewed on Big John Miller’s Facebook page or on Coachella Valley Country’s Instagram & Facebook pages)

Tickets to Stagecoach Festival can still be purchased from StagecoachFestival.com

Road To Stagecoach Begins Thursdays at Fantasy Springs Casino

Stagecoach Country Music Festival is next month, but the fun of the Stagecoach HonkyTonk has already begun! Every Thursday is Country Night at Lit Lounge, located inside Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino.

Along with great music, live bands, food and drink specials, guests also have an opportunity to win Stagecoach Festival wristbands. Three winners will be selected (one a week) leading up to the Stagecoach Line Dance Competition, which will be held on March 12, inside the Lit Lounge.

At the line dance competition, six winners will be selected by representatives from the Stagecoach HonkyTonk and may be asked to join the HonkyTonk Dance Team.

Dates and Details of the event can be found at StagecoachFestival.com
