Global Mexican superstar Carín León wrapped up his historic limited residency, “De Sonora para el Mundo,” at Sphere in Las Vegas.
During his second weekend in Las Vegas, Carín’s three night run took the crowd on a journey through his musical career with a 26-song setlist that included “A Través del Vaso,” “Que Vuelvas,” “El Tóxico,” “She Hurts Like Tequila,” “Colmillo de Leche,” and “Primera Cita.”
Carín and his band were joined onstage throughout the second weekend by some of Mexican music’s most iconic names. On Friday, Carín brought out one of his “biggest musical inspirations,” the legendary Pepe Aguilar, performing their collaboration “Lamentablemente” as well as Aguilar’s hit “Por mujeres como tú.” Lupe Esparza, lead singer of Bronco — a band that was a defining part of Carín’s childhood — followed, joining him for a medley of the band’s classics.
On Saturday, early-2000s pop took over the venue with Reik, icons of Spanish-language pop. Joined by Jesús, Julio and Bibi, Carín performed “Creo en ti” and “Inolvidable,” two of Reik’s best-loved hits.
On Sunday, Carín brought his 2026 Sphere residency to a close by welcoming one of the legends of Mexican romantic music to the stage: Cristian Castro to perform pop anthems “Yo Quería,” and “No Podrás.”
Earlier, during his first weekend at Sphere, Carín had shared the stage with Cody Johnson, The Warning, Kany García, Jorge Medina and Intocable, who joined in celebrating this historic residency.
With multiple sold-out nights, Carín cemented himself as one of the most influential Latin live acts in music today. Fans from across Mexico and the United States, international media, influencers and A-list names including renowned DJ and producer Diplo, singers Farruko and Tokischa, sports legends such as Memo Ochoa, Jorge Campos, Javier “Vasco” Aguirre, and Chicharito Hernández, as well as actors Emiliano Zurita, Mauricio Ochmann, Aislinn Derbez, and Carla Giraldo, were among the notable guests who didn’t want to miss Carín’s takeover of Sin City.
León’s stay in Vegas also featured an exclusive collaboration with luxury resort Fontainebleau, which included a series of activations — among them the first U.S. pop-up of La Cura Fest, the festival created and curated by the artist himself, at LIV Beach, featuring Jorge Medina, Bolela and Kakalo.
León’s arrival at Sphere set a new standard for live Spanish-language music in the United States, cementing his status as a pioneer opening the door for Spanish-language music on the global stage and as one of the most influential voices in Latin music in the U.S. market.
The singer returns to Sphere in 2027 for his second limited residency. Produced by AEG, the residency includes three confirmed shows on September 16, 17 and 18.
